La Spezia – One school bus, returning from the shift that had just ended, he went off the road at via Benedicenti, in La Spezia, ending up in an escarpment. It happened just before 9 this morning.
Only the driver and an escort were present on board: both were not seriously injured. They were brought out of the cockpit by the fire brigade.
The dynamics of the accident have yet to be reconstructed. The vehicle fell for about 20 meters and was stopped only by the dense vegetation just before the Via Aurelia, a very busy road from the early hours of the morning.
They intervened on the spot 118, firefighters, police and carabinieri. The road was closed to carry out the surveys. The two people involved in the accident were transported to the emergency room in La Spezia.
