Burnet remains promoted to FC Emmen for a year longer

Burnet came to Emmen in 2019, but left for Denmark a year later for an adventure at HB Køge. At the beginning of this season, the defender returned to Emmen. With the team from Drenthe he grabbed the title in the Kitchen Champion Division. Emmen will play in the Eredivisie again next season.

“Last season was simply great,” says Burnet, who played at Ajax in youth and played in the Eredivisie for FC Groningen, NEC and Excelsior. “A nice group of players, fantastic atmosphere in the stadium, periods taken, promoted and also become champion. I am looking forward to entering the Eredivisie with FC Emmen again.”
