Top model in Benelli, the TRK 502 (and its sister 502 X) continues to dominate the sales charts in our country, making equipment and price its strengths. One was recently presented in China new version 2022which does not see particular changes on an aesthetic and technical level compared to the previous model, but has some interesting updates.
The engine remains the proven 499 cc parallel twin able to 48 hp at 8,500 rpm, just as the braking system does not change, sporting a double disc at the front and a single one at the rear. The suspensions are also unchanged, with upside-down fork and rear monoshock with adjustable preload. But change the swingarm: the old steel unit has been updated with a new a asymmetrical arms in aluminum alloy. This intervention made it possible to reduce weight by 3.6 kgallowing the TRK to stop the balance needle at 209, 4 kg less in total thanks to other modifications (dry, declared).
