HSV has one foot in the Bundesliga! In the first leg of the relegation, the North Germans prevailed in a terrible game 1-0 against Hertha BSC. The old lady has to tremble before the second leg in Hamburg!

0:1 Reis (57.)
No, the relegation was rarely a football firework. So what HSV and Hertha BSC delivered on Thursday evening in the Olympic Stadium can be seen as a good tradition. What a grotto kick that both teams delivered there!
Maybe you should think about increasing the 2nd league. So far, neither team has deserved promotion. #BSCHSV #Relegation2022

So far, the performances of the two teams have been regarded as purely unsolicited applications for the 2nd Bundesliga. #BSCHSV

The worst thing is that there will also be a second leg. #BSCHSV #hahohe

Jesses that’s a kick. What am I glad that I can get out at halftime with a clear conscience – and not be involved to the bitter end for professional reasons. thanks for that again, @ wataru0209 😉 #BSCHSV

And this criticism is mainly aimed at Berlin. Hertha has an expensive squad with players who can actually kick. And it’s relegation: 100 percent should be the least you can leave on the pitch. Nevertheless, the team of interim coach Felix Magath offered little or nothing and needs a lot of imagination to turn things around in the second leg at HSV.
How shockingly bad is this Hertha playground? Then comes the second division and plays away in the first leg at least something similar to football.

Wow, what a bang, especially from Hertha— Rolf Fuhrmann (@Hallo_Rollo) May 19, 2022
Neutral spectators won’t believe me, but: I’ve seen worse halves from Hertha. #BSCHSV #hahohe

In the game with few highlights, one controversial scene was hotly debated: a potential handball in the 32nd minute by Hertha defender Peter Pekarik, which was checked by the video referee for a long time; but finally the decision was made: no penalty for HSV! Probably the right decision.
I am absolutely certain that the Slovenian would have simply ignored this hand scene yesterday. In Germany: 5 minutes VAR. #BSCHSV

So this handball was not clear before the clear handball. #HSVBSC

Otherwise, the only goal of the game spoke volumes for this game: an unfortunate cross from Ludovit Reis found its way into the Herthan goal in the 57th minute. Not deserved, not wanted – it doesn’t matter! With the narrow victory in Berlin, HSV secures the best tickets for the second leg in Hamburg (May 23) to finally celebrate promotion back to the Bundesliga. Hertha, on the other hand, needs a real performance explosion to even have a chance. What a disappointing performance!

It’s funny when Hertha fucks up and when HSV fucks up too

As an old lady, why are you afraid of Robert Glatzel?
— Felix Magath (@the_story) May 19, 2022
I probably wouldn’t even be able to do a sprint in the Bundesliga because of my stamina, but my crosses would still be better than Jatta’s attempts at clarification.#BSCHSV

Let both descend, Darmstadt up #BSCHSV #Relegation

This #Hertha-Squad is so desolate that it doesn’t really take much to get things done on Monday. If not against this Hertha, then against whom? #hsv

Who is on the bench at Hertha in the second leg? #BSCHSV

Help this is a bottomless bad game
