ROME, MAY 18 – An extraordinary national council of the M5s has been convened after the election of Stefania Craxi as president of the Senate Foreign Affairs Commission. As far as we know, Giuseppe Conte himself would have called him to understand the dynamics that led the Movement to lose the presidency of the commission. Shortly before, the undersecretary of the interior and pentastellato exponent, Carlo Sibilia, had asked that the loss of the commission by the 5 stars be “rebalanced”: “It is good – he had told the microphones of La7 – that Petrocelli is no longer President of Foreign Commission but I trust that this loss of a presidency by the M5S is re-balanced in some way.
