At Dead By Daylight’s sixth anniversary event, developer Behavior Interactive announced a new “dating sim” titled Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim, based on asymmetric multiplayer.
The dating simulator will feature four characters from Dead By Daylight and will take place on “Assassin Island”: “Have you ever felt like going out for drinks with the Spectre? And going on a date with the Huntress, confessing your deepest feelings to the Spirit or find out what the Trapper hates most? Well, this is your chance!”, is the message that appears in the announcement video on YouTube.
The announcement shows that the game will have a cartoon art style with colorful images, as opposed to the dark aesthetic of Dead By Daylight. The assassins that will appear are The Huntress, The Ghost, The Trapper and The Spectre.
Hooked On You is a collaboration with Psyop, the developers behind KFC’s 2019 dating sim “I Love You, Colonel Sanders!”
There is no specific date for the release of the spin-off yet, but the announcement video ensures that it will be released in the summer (winter of the southern hemisphere) for PC on Steam.
