ROME, MAY 18 – The Covid hospitalization curve accelerates the descent. In the week, 10-17 May, the total number of hospitalized patients, both in the ordinary wards and in the intensive care units, was reduced by 14.9%: a double decrease compared to that of the period 3-10 May when the decrease had been 7.5%. This is what emerges from the survey of sentinel hospitals of the Italian Federation of Healthcare and Hospitals (Fiaso), which highlights how cases in ordinary wards have been reduced by 15% and in intensive care by 14.8%.
