Baseball player Xander Bogaerts has homered the Boston Red Sox to a victory in the Major League. The 29-year old Aruban, international of the Netherlands Kingdom Team, hit the ball over the fences of Fenway Park in the eighth inning in the home game against Houston Astros.
Bogaerts brought along a teammate who was on second base, giving the Red Sox a 6-3 lead. The team from Boston secured the win in the last inning. Bogaerts, the Red Sox shortstop, hit his third homerun this year.
Boston Red Sox has had a slow start to the season. The nine-time World Series winner lost 21 of 35 games. Bogaerts became MLB champion in 2013 and 2018 with the Red Sox.
