Vlaanderen’s first time
ORttavo seasonal grand prix of the motocross world championship e first false step from Tim Gajser who at the end of the two heats he was alone seventh while the podium was composed of Calvin Vlaanderen (Yamaha), at the first victory, Jorge Prado Glenn Coldenhoff. Fourth Maxime Renaux, fifth Jeremy Seewer.
Gajser’s stumbling block does not question his leadership, he is still firmly in command of the championship. In the first heat the Slovenian finished second after being recovered and overtaken by Vlaanderen who took the lead with three laps to go.
In race 2 it went worse because Gajser crashed on the seventh lap and managed to finish only 12th. For Vlaanderen a nice double, in the second race the Dutchman got off to a better start than in the first and at mid-race he got back in front, winning by more than 15 seconds over Coldenhoff.
First Italian Mattia Guadagnini (11th and eighth in the two heats) and eighth overall.

THEn MX2 continues the exciting challenge between Jago Geerts And Tom Vialle. The two exchanged first and second places in the two heats with Vialle at the end on the top step due to the greater weight assigned to race 2.
In the standings Geerts is ahead of only 6 points. Third is Simon Laengenfelder, behind by about ninety points. In Sardinia the Italian Andrea Adamo finished the GP in fifth place thanks to the placings in the two heats: seventh and sixth.
