Singer Luigi won the 21st edition of “Friends” at the end of the first six-contestant final in the history of Maria De Filippi’s talent, broadcast on Canale 5, and was awarded a prize worth 150 thousand euros in gold tokens. Luigi prevailed in the match between the two super finalists. In the final, in fact, Luigi challenged each other, as the winner of the singing circuit, and Michele, winner of the dance circuit, to which however the category winner prize of 50 euros in gold tokens went. The Critics Award Tim worth 50 thousand euros, decided by a jury composed of journalists from the main print and web newspapers, went to the singer-songwriter Sissi.
The two superfinalists who challenged each other for the overall victory were reached through two parallel tournaments: first the singing one and then the dance one. The first to come out in the challenge between the 4 finalist singers (Sissi, Alex, Luigi and Albe) was Albe (22 years old, songwriter and musician), then it was Sissi’s turn (23 years old and an important voice). Among the two favorites on the eve, Luigi and Alex, the first to win the singing category finally won.
The challenge between the two dancers Michele (22 years old) and Serena (19 years old), then saw Michele prevail. Michele was also awarded the invitation of Roberto Bolle to the final show of the On Dance festival in Milan, while Serena was awarded a one-year scholarship at the Ailey School in New York.
Finally, the challenge between the two super finalists in the category proved Luigi right.
During the evening, the Tim Prize worth 30 thousand euros in gold tokens was also awarded, which went to the dancer Serena, the Radio Prize conferred by the main networks for the most radio piece went to Luigi for ‘Keep me tonight’, the Prize Oreo worth 20 thousand euros in gold tokens awarded by a technical jury to Alex and the Marlù Prize worth 7 thousand euros in gold tokens for all finalists.
