Another eight years and then Ford will not sell a single new passenger car with an internal combustion engine in Europe. For this, the EV range has to grow considerably, after all, the Mustang Mach-E now stands alone. Not much longer, because three electric high-legged Fords will be added until 2024.
Ford has put a pretty popular electric car on the road with the Mustang Mach-E. In the Netherlands, the sales counter now stands at almost 4,500 units. That tastes like more, but Ford also has to. The competition is not standing still, various electric alternatives are appearing in various segments. Ford is therefore expanding in the next two years with three EVs that will be lower in the market than the Mustang Mach-E. For starters, a fully electric Puma will appear in 2024. That will not be a new generation of the Puma, but ‘just’ the current one with electric drive. At least that’s what we decide
