Alan Wake originally debuted on May 14, 2010 in Europe. On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the franchise, Remedy Entertainment shared news about the series, including news of the long-awaited sequel, Alan Wake 2which are somewhat bittersweet.
The European studio organized a commemorative broadcast in which the key people of the project Sam Lake, creative director; Ilkka Villi, motion and facial actor for Alan Wake, and Matthew Poretta, the character’s voice actor.
During the conversation, Lake mentioned that Alan Wake 2 it feels familiar, but at the same time he says it feels like making his way through something new. Let’s remember that the sequel, unlike the original, will be focused on the survival horror experience, in addition to serving to “explore the depth of the character”.

You’ll have to wait to see a new trailer for Alan Wake 2
Sam Lake and the project team at Remedy Entertainment had ensured that we would know more about the game this summer. Unfortunately, Lake revealed that there was a change of plans, as there will be no news or any major announcements for the game this summer.
Those in charge mentioned that fans will have to “wait a little longer” to see a new trailer. It may seem like negative news at first glance, but Remedy Entertainment assured that the project is going very well, apart from promising a demo of the game.

“Everything is going very well, a good part of the game is playable, we are iterating. (…) We want to make sure that we are creating the best experience possible, Remedy’s first survival horror game. We do not want to divert the focus of the team to work on a demo right now,” Lake said.
