Jessica Chastain And Anne Hathaway will soon be protagonists of the new psychological thriller Mothers’ InstictUS remake of Duelles. Here’s what we know!

Set in the 1960s, the film follows the story of two women, Alice and Céline, best friends and neighbors who until then had lived a quiet life, made up of well-kept homes and happy families. Mothers’ Instinct will see as its protagonists two exceptional actresses: Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway. Both winners of a Oscar Prize, Jessica Chastain has recently returned from the success of Tammy Faye’s eyes, a film that earned her the gold statuette for best leading actress. The two have already collaborated together for Interstellar. This time, in addition to acting, they will also work behind the camera as producers.
The US remake will be directed by the director of the original Belgian film, that is Olivier Masset-Depasse. The script will instead be written by the screenwriter Sarah Conradt. Mother’s Instinct will be distributed by Neon studioa distribution company whose name is linked to the great South Korean success Parasite who, in 2020, bought up Oscars. Always of the same house we have been able to see recently Spencerfilm starring the Princess Diana (played by Kristen Stewart) of which an intense and at times surreal psychological portrait was created. Neon it is linked to really interesting and unconventional projects so we can only be optimistic about the success of this title too.
The US newspaper Deadline lets us know that the filming of Mothers’ Instinct they will start very soon, starting May 25th.
