Everything is ready for the third edition of the Davis Cup Finals by Rakuten. The ITF and Kosmos Tennis have announced the group stage schedule, which will be played for the first time in four different locations. Bologna, Glasgow, Hamburg and Valencia are the cities chosen to host the six-day event (from 13 to 18 September) which will decide access to the final phase scheduled for November (21-27). The matches will be spread over six days with only one tie scheduled per day at each venue. The matches will begin simultaneously at 4 pm. The top two teams in each group will enter the knockout phase, which will take place at the Palacio de Deportes José Maria Martin Carpena in Malaga from 21 to 27 November.

Filippo Volandri’s Italy, who last year in Turin was one step away from qualifying for the final stages, will take the field on three separate dates. The debut will take place on Wednesday 14 September against Croatia, which spoiled the Azzurri’s party in 2021 by snatching the pass for Madrid. They will then return to the field on Friday 16 for the clash with Diego Schwartzman’s Argentina. Finally, on Sunday 18 all called up for the final match with Sweden. Tickets for the Davis Cup Finals by Rakuten group stage will be available on the competition’s official website: daviscupfinals.com. Tickets for Hamburg will be on sale as early as Monday 16 May, while tickets for the other three venues will kick off in the coming weeks.
