FC Barcelona’s patience with 29-year-old Philippe Coutinho is believed to have ended. The Catalan club are ready to lose 67 caps and 20 goals with the Brazilian national team in the summer of 2022.
Coutinho is currently on loan with Aston Villa since January 2022. There his form has improved again under the direction of Steven Gerrard, who is also a former team-mate at Liverpool.

No doubt Villa wants to make his contract permanent. Reportedly, as reported by Football-Espana, Villa is ready to make his contract permanent and Barcelona don’t mind selling him, even at a cheaper price.
It is alleged that Villa will only offer 20 million euros and if this is true, Barcelona will lose 115 million euros after signing him from Liverpool in 2018. But Barca don’t mind because it can reduce Coutinho’s big salary expenditure.
❗Barcelona and Aston Villa are expected to finalize Coutinho’s transfer to the English club today. The official announcement could be take place today. Villa will sign Coutinho for around €20m.
