In the same way, this PS3 and PS Vita update will make the 2-step authentication system mandatory to log in, a process that you can carry out at this link if you have not yet done so to protect your user accounts on PlayStation Network.
This is considered an important security measure, probably related to the years that both systems have been on the market and the vulnerabilities to which they could be exposed in such a situation.
Likewise, Sony reported that accounts created from a PS4, PS5 or PC can be registered on PS3 and PS Vita and used without any problem as the system will recognize them immediately.
Recently, the PS Vita gave the note for a bug that prevented users from accessing the PS Store and made some think that the end is near.
