Arsenal’s victory over Leed United 2-1 made them closer to a ticket to qualify for the main round of the Champions League next season. Victory over Tottenham Hotspur, next Friday will ensure that.
One of the players who is currently focusing on bringing the Gunners to realize that target is Mohamed Elneny. Although the Egyptian player is currently confused about his uncertain future with the club, he emphasized that his main focus is to bring Arsenal to a top four finish.
“Everyone is focused on achieving the club’s target which is to qualify for the main round of the Champions League,” said Elneny as quoted by Goal.
“The derby against Tottenham will be very tough, and our main goal is to win at their stadium and ensure qualification for the Champions League,” he added.
Throughout this season Elneny has only played 11 times in all competitions with a total of 530 minutes played. The factor that he often gets injured makes his playing hours limited. So far Elneny has created two assists.
