LONDON, 09 MAY – Another flat rate for 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth, who will not be in Westminster tomorrow to read the so-called Queen’s Speech, the program of the British government, on the occasion of the inauguration in United Chambers of the new parliamentary session. The sovereign will be replaced by the heir to the throne Charles, as announced by Buckingham Palace, specifying that the decision was taken on the recommendation of the doctors, for precautionary reasons: a recommendation that her Majesty accepted “with reluctance”. It is the first absence from this institutional appointment since 1963. (ANSA).
