Homicides of Samarate, the version of events told by grandparents Giulio and Ines, on the program ‘La Vita in Diretta’
Ines and Giulio Pivetta, Stefania’s parents and Giulia’s grandparents, have decided to go on television to tell the truth about this family. Meanwhile, the police are carrying out all the investigations on murders of Samaratewhich shocked thousands of people.

Everyone is shaken from what happened in that house. Until that moment Alessandro Maja seemed to be a proud and perfect father, only in recent times he gave signs of imbalance.
The two parents and grandparents, destroyed by the losses suffered, have chosen to go in front of the cameras of the Rai1 program ‘Live Life‘to have their say version of the facts. The grandfather said:
My son-in-law killed his family and he killed us too. And if I know it’s absurd, I keep thinking about him. What is on his mind in the morning when he wakes up, and the fact that I would like to look him in the face and ask him why, why he did such a thing.

InesStefania’s mother in her story made it clear that she was a lot tied al Alessandro Maja, husband of her daughter and father of her grandchildren. The lady on television said:
It is not true that our daughter wanted to separate, just as it is not true that she had asked for food vouchers in the Municipality, as someone has said. She just wanted to help her husband, she wanted to get him out of her difficult moment. A lot of people talk even if they don’t know things, but really there was nothing to suggest such a thing.
Samarate murders, the episode that took place in the days preceding Giulia Maja
Giulio Pivetta rethinking once again the time spent with his niece, he wanted to recount the episode that took place a few days before a Giulia. The man said:
Giulia, a few days ago while I was taking her to tennis, told me that once she woke up suddenly and her dad was sitting on her bed. He told her: ‘Giulia, I’m sorry.’ She immediately fell asleep again but she was shocked, to the point of telling me about it.

The hope of these two gentlemen is just that Nicolò, the only survivor of the massacre, is able to recover. However, given the situation, the doctors chose to keep him still in a confidential prognosis. The 23-year-old is unfortunately still standing fighting for his life.
