Many gamers must know how to carry out their work as parents and their passion for video games in the best way, obviously their children being the priority, something that the creator of the following mod has made clear and that precisely mixes his affection for video games and love to their children.

This is the Stripes the Cat mod, which adds a cat to the game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, replacing the so-called mudcrabs or ‘mud crabs’ since their children were afraid to see them when they were little.
“They liked to play, but they were terrified of mud crabs, so I made them a protective companion based on the family cat,” says modder NoUsernamesNotTaken.
In addition, in the description of the mod, the creator tells the story of the cat Stripes: “It was a stray cat that appeared one day and felt at home. It accompanied us when we went for a walk with the children or when we walked the dog. The dog had that being tied up, but not Stripes, faithfully walked by our side everywhere we went. So this mod is really realistic in that sense.”

A mod that those who love cats will surely find wonderful and that arrives within the framework of the so-called Morrowind May Modathon this year 2022, which precisely celebrates the 20 years of Morrowind, which was launched on May 1, 2002.
If you are interested in giving it a try, you can go through the mod page on the nexusmods site, where instructions are given that include having the Companionable Cats mod installed by modder Emma.
