ROME, MAY 06 – The Senate Regulation Board will meet on Tuesday May 10 at 4.30 pm to discuss the case of Vito Petrocelli, president of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. The parliamentarian, elected with the M5s but at odds with the group, is at the center of the controversy for his pro-Russia positions. Petrocelli does not intend to resign from the presidency of the commission. To unblock the situation and seek a solution that leads to his removal, twenty members of the commission out of 22 (excluding Petrocelli and Emanuele Dessì, Cal’s senator who do not intend to leave office) have submitted their resignations.
