Arsenal officially continue their belief in Mikel Arteta. The Spanish manager has received a new contract until 2025. Arteta is seen as showing sufficient potential to return the Gunners to the top four of the Premier League.
After experiencing difficulties at the start of the season, Arteta was able to bring the North London team closer to a top four position. The process of restructuring the squad is also going quite well. Some of the senior players whose performance has declined are slowly being replaced with young players with high potential.
Arteta said he was grateful for this deal. Arteta has stated his intention to continue the target he has wanted to achieve in the long term since being appointed Arsenal manager.

“I’m very happy to stay here. My main target is to establish the values and respect that everyone who represents this club has, including how we show it. The second target is to establish a clear identity.”
“How we play, what we want to build and how to do it. I think it’s seen and supported by all concerned. This forms cohesiveness within the club. We have won two trophies in 2.5 seasons, but we still have a long way to go,” said Mikel Arteta in a statement on the club’s official website.
Arteta stressed the importance of returning to the Champions League. Participating in Europe’s top competition could pave the way for Arsenal to compete with other big clubs on the continent.
