Mercedes-Benz will start selling the Drive Pilot autonomous driving system in Germany this month. From May 17, buyers of an EQS or S-class can check the option. It is not yet known when the system will be on the market in the Netherlands.
Drive Pilot will be available as an option for the two top models from Mercedes-Benz from 17 May. On the S-class, the system costs €5,000 in Germany. EQS buyers pay an additional cost of €7,430 because the Driver Assistance Package Plus at €2,430 must be ticked for Drive Pilot on the electric flagship. Models equipped with Drive Pilot can be recognized by two buttons on the steering wheel, with which you can activate the system.
