Where everything seems to be getting more and more expensive, Kawasaki unfortunately cannot avoid increasing the 2022 prices of its models in the meantime.
In recent times Kawasaki has made every effort to keep prices unchanged for this year in the hope that cost increases would be temporary, but they are only increasing (entirely beyond Kawasaki’s control) and for that reason has the Japanese manufacturer unfortunately had to decide to increase prices for all 2022 models.
Price increases are currently a global problem and are noticeable in multiple industries. In the case of Kawasaki, according to the Japanese, this price increase is caused by an accumulation of factors:
- Extreme price increases in the commodities market
- Continued high logistics costs such as the price of sea containers
- High energy prices
- Disruption of production processes and logistics chains due to the Corona pandemic
The price increase will take effect on 4 May 2022 and will affect all product groups. The price increase will of course not be passed on to customers who have ordered their motorbike before the price increase (signed customer order).
