C.that the bike keeps you young is certainly not a mystery. But it is certainly not common to see motorcyclists with different springs on their backs still riding large displacement motorcycles.
This was probably the reason why a normal police check ended up in the local press after a photo had landed on the Facebook page of the Questura di Perugia.
G.the agents had in fact stopped one BMW R 1200 RS for document control, but some surprise came when they saw the date of birth reported on the driver’s license: year 1936.
ORthirty-six years is in fact the age of Mr. Giampiero (surname omitted for privacy reasons) who still usually drives his 1200RS boxer.
Motion in order and up-to-date documents, so everything is fine. A cordial exchange of words and then the request for a souvenir photo. Fortunately, there is something good in the often gray everyday life.
And then yes, the bike keeps you active: after all, motorcyclists know it well …
