The Elder Scrolls is one of the most important sagas in the video game industry, so much so that its latest installment (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) has become a classic of the genre, still being tremendously sold even today. To this we must add the uncertainty behind the sixth installment of the franchise, of which we have recently known some details, but even if these leaks are true, it will mean that we will have to wait a long time to enjoy this title.
Now the migration is taking place, by Bethesda, from its own launcher to Steam, one of the most used platforms today (if not the most), and it seems that this company wants to compensate users for the wait that we are going to have to endure until we see The Elder Scrolls VI materialized.
The classics must be kept
Specifically, Bethesda has added some very classic games from the franchise to Steam, but two of them in particular have been added without a price, that is, they can be played completely free of charge. To be more specific, video games that we can find for free are The Elder Scrolls Arena and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.
These video games appear as “free to play”, that is, they they can be purchased completely free of charge and stored in your library without any problem. In principle, this seems to be for a limited time, mainly because other similar titles from the same franchise do have a price, but we will have to wait to see if this is a promotion that will only last for a certain time. Just in case, I would recommend that you run to Steam to be able to acquire them, and so in case they want to pay for it, you already have it.
On the other hand, it is necessary to mention that these two are not the only games that you can acquire for free as a result of this move from Bethesda. Specific, the other title you can download is Wolfestein: Enemy Territorya game that does aim to remain a free game forever, mainly because its Steam description specifies that it is “free to play”
