Kojima Productions has become one of the most important studios in the video game industry. Although there is great expectation around his new project, we still do not know what new game he is working on. Fans are constantly on the lookout for clues and are racking their brains over Hideo Kojima’s latest posts.
In recent days, the head of Kojima Productions has shared very curious images at his workstation in which he is seen apparently participating in a remote motion capture session thanks to the MADO system, which we told you about weeks ago and that they would help connect Kojima Productions virtually from Japan to North America.
The interesting thing is that in the images the creative always includes a clock with hands, sometimes in the foreground and others in the background, but always marking a different time. The pattern caught the attention of fans, as it is common for Hideo Kojima to give cryptic hints about his next games.

SONY’s “MADO”. It’s not a “door to anywhere”, but it keeps us connected to the North American continent.👍 pic.twitter.com/Jc6o8EpPaN

Fans think Kojima is hinting at something
The image that attracted the most attention is the one published on April 22, when in the image not only is the clock showing 11:53, but also because next to it it reads 6:1, which made the viewers think fans that could be the date that there will be an announcement class (June 1). However, the clock pattern is indecipherable to fans, so they still don’t know what the creative is hinting at.
There is no official news yet, so we recommend you take this as speculation, as these clues could very well be meaningless and random photos of the watch when Kojima is waiting to join their meetings.
Norman Reedus hinted that Kojima Productions’ next project would be a sequel to Death Stranding, something that the study has not confirmed. Artist Yoji Shinkawa mentioned in 2021 that last summer we would know more about his new project, but there was no news. We will keep you informed.
In case you missed it: Kojima Productions cleared rumors about a possible purchase by Sony.
