Today we want to tell you a good story with a happy ending, starring Janice, a 9 year old dog who finds his forever home after spending two very long years in a kennel. The 9-year-old puppy finally managed to find the perfect family to spend happy days.
Janice is a 9 year old dog who has spent most of her life in Columbiana County Dog Pound, always waiting for a family to come and adopt her. Volunteers worked hard to find the right family and the ideal forever home for her.
It wasn’t easy for Janice to spend all this time watching others animals guests of the kennel go away and be adopted by kindhearted people. But the wait was worth it, as now Janice has had her happy ending too.
The shelter was hoping Janice would find it soon right home for her, also because it was the dog who lived the longest in the shelter. All potential adopters either didn’t show up or didn’t feel like giving one chance to the shelter dog. Dog that was heartbroken.
Janice has spent her life peering at visitors through the kennel’s windows. Time and time again, she has seen her fellow pound dogs being adopted, yet she is ignored each time for one reason or another.
9 year old dog finds a forever home and loving family
The April 15 last the turning point. In a post shared on the shelter’s Facebook page, the volunteers announced that Janice has found the perfect family.
These sweet people have been trying to add a dog to their family for a while and when she saw Janice’s story on the news she said ‘this is my dog’!
