Bandai Namco is one of the most important video game companies on the planet, which is home to iconic franchises, such as the veteran Pac-Man. The Los Angeles Angels, likewise, are a sports team with a long history that has contributed to the sports tradition of the United States. With the relevance in their respective sector in common, both entities announced a curious alliance.
Bandai Namco reported through a press release that it has reached an agreement with the renowned United States Major League Baseball team Los Angeles Angels, just in time for the start of the 2022 MLB or Major Leagues season.

Why did Bandai Maco team up with the Los Angeles Angels?
You may be wondering why Bandai Namco and the Los Angeles baseball team would collaborate, if they are from a very different type of entertainment. The reason is simple, because we inform you that Bandai Namco has just moved its headquarters from the United States to Irvine, California.
Thanks to this collaboration, those attending the stadium of this sports team will see promotional material from Bandai Namco, as a corporate brand of its products, both in fixed and rotating signs behind the bases, as well as 360º LED signs in the stadium. Additionally, the entertainment brand will appear in Angels material, such as the team’s official magazine and social media.

“We are very excited to welcome Bandai Namco to the Angels Family of Partners,” said team president Dennis Kuhl. “With Bandai Namco’s US headquarters moving to Orange County, and our shared love of entertaining millions while supporting our local community, this is a logical union between our brands that I know our fans will enjoy.”
As if that were not enough, Bandai Namco is organizing the first face-to-face event after this agreement that will ignite the excitement of the fans of the baseball team and serve as an introduction and welcome celebration. This meeting will be called Welcome to the PAC! (in reference to Pac-Man) and will take place at the Irvine Spectrum Center on May 1, to which families who want to enjoy activities such as trying out video game demos, souvenir gifts, raffles and musical performances are formally invited.
