Finding herself enslaved to the Eldian king, she not even her death was able to grant him rest, as she is shown helping her descendants reshape their once-injured bodies. In other words, her mission in her eternity was to grant powers to all the Titans, something that has made her a fundamental character for all the events that have unfolded in the Eldian people. Also, with Eren and his brother Zeke able to transport themselves to the realm of Paths, where Ymir currently resides, the young woman is able to lend her strength to Eren Jaeger, causing quite a bit of trouble for the world at large, as the Rumor has been unleashed and Eren is willing to keep control of the town.
