Barcelona, who lack ammunition in the attacking sector, made Xavi Hernandez rush to bring in a new face when the 2022 winter transfer window opened and finally, decided to bring Adama Traore on loan with a permanent option.
Traore, who was brought in from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is actually no stranger to Blaugrana fans, considering that he is a former La Masia academy graduate and made his senior debut in the 2013/14 season.
Traore, who was able to gain the confidence to return to the Barca shirt, couldn’t contain his happiness and insisted that he wanted to put all his best into Xavi’s tutelage.
“I am happy to be back here. For me, this is a special moment because it has been many years since I left this team,” said Traore of Football Espana.
“As a person who grew up and grew up in this city, it makes me happy so I want to return the feeling of happiness when I am on the pitch,” he concluded.
Traore, who gets this second chance, is of course expected to help Barca to penetrate the top four of the La Liga standings and compete for the Europa League title.
