ROME, JAN 28 – A man was sentenced to six months in prison in Florida for groping a flight attendant last August. CNN reports it. Enio Socorro Zayas was traveling on an American Airlines flight from Cancun, Mexico, to Miami. The stewardess, thinking he was sleeping, came over to leave him a snack. When she turned, she felt “a hand grabbing her thigh part and moving from bottom to top”. A passenger confirmed the harassment story, and Zayas pleaded guilty in October. Harassing, sometimes criminal, behavior by passengers on airplanes is a very common phenomenon in the United States. A plague that got worse during the Covid pandemic. Last year was the worst with around 6,000 cases reported, according to data from the Federal Aviation Administration. (HANDLE).
