It could only be born in Swiss a theme park entirely dedicated to chocolate. Nestle announced the upcoming realization of this maxi project than in 2025 will rise to Broc, In the canton of Friborg. It is an investment from 77 million euros, welcomed with enthusiasm by the authorities of the canton which will host the future park, certainly destined to grow the tourism sector. “It won’t be a Luna Park with the rollercoaster but a park of a completely different kind ”he declared Olivier Quillet, project director for Nestle. The site chosen is that of Caillet House, historic chocolate producer bought back by Nestlé and whose factory is already on third most visited museum in Switzerland.
Competition, however, is not lacking and the future Nestlé chocolate park will have to contend with other historical names in Swiss chocolate such as Lindt, who opened the House of Chocolate on Lake Zurich, Chez Camille Bloch and the Läderach Maison.
