You may recognize that you can develop a kind of crush for a car because it is actually a really crazy thing. That may also happen with this Suzuki SC100, which is looking for a new owner.
Suzuki has grown as a car manufacturer with small cars. That adventure started in Europe in the late 1970s with the SC100. An extremely striking little one that may not quite fit on your retina in terms of proportions. Although the SC100 had the necessary external similarities with other ‘Dutch’ Japanese of that time, it was a different story in terms of dimensions. The story of the SC100 already started with the slightly older Suzuki Fronte Coupé on which it was based: a real Kei car, drawn by none other than Giorgetto Giugiaro. That Fronte Coupé was blown up a bit, the design was changed in detail and voilà, there was the SC100. At least that’s what it was called…
