iPhone is updating every month that passes to integrate current daily life into its devices; until today, for example, Face ID turned out to be a huge problem due to bezels and the screen was often not unlocked. Other times, however, there have been cases in which the device directly blocked access and it was necessary to resort to external assistance. A situation that needed to be resolved and it seems that Apple has reached the turning point.
More precisely, the same company had talked about the new function months ago, but due to force majeure the launch had been delayed, with an accompanying slowdown in development. Today, however, they seem to have come to a halt thanks to an appearance in the beta version of iOS 15.4. To confirm this was Brandon Butch, YouTuber, and the MacRumors site, giving more detailed information on the sighting via Twitter.
Apparently there will be an iOS system update, but it will not be available to all users.

In order to have a good functionality, the release mechanism must consider a very clear image and with firm and decisive features. This has to happen because the system works exactly like a scanner and at the slightest hint of inaccuracy or inaccuracy, it stops working or creates errors of any kind.

What is certain is that the models from the iPhone 12 and up are safely part of the update. However, the new feature will make the scanner run only on the external features of the face and those more visible even without the mask. In short words: the external part of the face and the area around the eyes will be recognized. It will be possible to wear very normal glasses, as they will not affect the correct unlocking procedure, but it will be practically impossible if those worn are sunglasses.
Once you have imported your features, obviously of the whole face, just go to the settings and select “Use Face ID with a mask”. The game is done, at least theoretically; Unfortunately we don’t have a certain date for when this update is released.
