Although its release was scheduled for December 10 last year, Microids was forced to delay the release of Syberia: The World Before for PC by wanting “deliver the best experience possible and pay great tribute to the epic adventures of Kate Walker as imagined by Benoit Sokal”, explained the developer in her day. Now confirm that the game will arrive next March 18 to Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG. “These extra weeks allowed Koalabs studio and our team to have the confidence to deliver the game you deserve.”.
Microids has also announced that the game’s original score, composed by Inon Zur and now available on streaming platforms, will be available on vinyl along with the release of the game. However, the console versions of Syberia: The World Before are still not set for release within this year.
Dos protagonistas en Syberia: The World Before
First, players will be teleported to the Vaghen of the year 1937 with Dana Roze, a 17-year-old girl who begins a brilliant career as a pianist. However, the rise of the fascist Brown Shadow threat in Europe at the dawn of World War II heralds a bleak future. On the other hand, in the Taiga of the year 2004, the well-known Kate Walker survives as best she can in the salt mine where she was imprisoned, when a tragic event pushes her to embark on a new adventure in search of her identity.
After the original trilogy of Syberia has reached PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, it is to be hoped that this fourth installment that mixes two very different eras will also reach these platforms.
