Superlega, Trento overwhelms Ravenna

Two advances to the eleventh day of Superlega. Trento overwhelms Ravenna. At 6 pm the Verona-Padua Venetian derby. After Milan-Modena tomorrow also Perugia-Piacenza was postponed due to the five positivity found in the team group of the Emilians.

Suffering even more than expected for a set and a half against a good Ravenna at least at the start, Trentino Volley continues its positive streak going over the Consar CMC in three partial. After forty days of forced stop, the Romagna sextet manages at least in the first two sets to keep the field, but in the long run a more effective Itas in all the fundamentals and dragged by a very lucid Sbertoli in the direction (and by an always precious Matey Kaziyski) succeeds to take the entire mail home. For Trento it is the third consecutive success in the championship in three sets, which brings the Dolomites back to third place in the SuperLega standings. At the start Lorenzetti reconfirms the now traditional sextet, while in the Ravenna half there are Vukasinovic and Ulrich spikers. The first extension for the hosts comes thanks to a batting round by Lisinac (8-5), with Consar CMC starting to make a lot of mistakes. Here then is that Lavia places 13-8 for his team, Trento also relaxes and allows some errors (15-12) before finding new oxygen again with Lavia (17-13). When Podrascanin places the wall of 18-14 Lorenzetti stops the game, but only to deliver to the Serbian central a souvenir T-shirt of his 1000 walls in the Italian league printed on this very occasion. In the final part of the set Ravenna goes back up to 23-22 before Trento, exploiting the imprecisions of the guests, is unable to seal the first part. In the second set, the Itas Trentino at the start is surprised by a Ravenna capable of extending a few points. But when the ranks are closed and the errors limited, the hosts come back, even if the Romagnoli always remain there, in the wake. Just a couple of mistakes and the set risks getting complicated, so it is not in the final part in which Trentino Volley makes no mistakes and closes the set. In the third set, the credits are now ready to roll over this match. As Kaziyski immediately scores 5-0 for the hosts, CMC Consar still gives something and this time without being able to return (13-6). The partial well-loan has nothing more to say (19-8), with a more effective Trento in all fundamentals. Ending the games with three consecutive points from Kaziyski is now a pure formality for the hosts.
