AC Milan continues to look for players who can strengthen their defense in the January transfer market. The latest news mentions the name Japhet Tanganga, the Tottenham Hotspur defender, who is Milan’s target.
As reported by Italian Football, Tanganga is reported to have been in contact with Milan. Spurs have also held direct talks with the Rossoneri, but so far no agreement has been reached.

Not being Antonio Conte’s first choice at Spurs, the 22-year-old looked for opportunities to play regularly at other clubs. Milan can be said to have come at the right time to sign Tanganga.
The situation of Milan’s defense line itself is a little apprehensive. Their defender, Fikayo Tomori will have to be sidelined for at least the next month due to injury. Then Milan captain, Simon Kjaer, is also absent until the end of this season.
AC Milan are still looking for a centre back. No fresh contacts yet for Eric Bailly, Abdou Diallo still in the list – Tanganga among options but AC Milan only interested in potential loan move. ? #ACMilan
Tottenham are not open to let Tanganga leave on loan before next week.

Hands who have to compete with Eric Dier and Christian Romero will have more limited playing hours if the two names return from injury. So far Tanganga has played 17 times for the Spurs this season across all competitions.
