Manchester United does not appear to be actively increasing the strength of its squad in the January 2022 transfer window, but it turns out that the club board has not remained silent, in fact they have started to draw up plans to buy players in the summer transfer market.
One sector of concern is the midfielder sector, now according to the Daily Mail report, MU is interested in bringing in John McGinn, who is currently defending Aston Villa.
The opportunity to join McGinn to Old Trafford also seems not impossible, although the player is still under contract until 2025, MU is claimed to be able to get the Scottish passport’s signature for £40 million.
Not only that, it turns out that McGinn’s performance has long been monitored by the club’s technical director Darren Fletcher, even Sir Alex Ferguson is also claimed to be amazed by the 27-year-old player’s appearance.
John McGinn joined Aston Villa in 2018, when he was signed from Scottish club Hiberbian for three million euros. Almost four seasons at Villa Park, he has appeared in 129 games with a collection of 16 goals and 21 assist.
It is worth waiting for which players will join Old Trafford in the summer of 2022, previously, Man United was also linked with several other players such as Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice.
