VfB Stuttgart lends Momo Cisse to Poland. For the next year and a half, the Guinea egg will accrue for Wisla Kraków.
In a year and a half at VfB, Momo Cisse only has five Bundesliga games to his credit. This is mainly due to the massive bad luck with injuries: the youngster missed a whole year due to various injuries.
VfB want to give the 19-year-old, who came from FC Le Havre in the summer of 2020, the opportunity to play at Wisla Kraków. “Because of long-term injury problems, Momo has not yet been able to assert himself to the extent that we and of course he had hoped. A loan to another club is therefore a sensible solution,” explained sporting director Sven Mislintat.
Cisse, who has a contract with the Swabians until 2025, will play for the top Polish club until the summer of 2023. “Wisla Kraków is a very good address in Polish football and we are convinced that Momo will benefit from the move,” added Mislintat.
