Programme: Eredivisie is back and Overijssel encounters in women’s football, handball and volleyball

For many Overijssel clubs, the second half of the season would start last weekend, but corona threw a spanner in the works for many matches. A new chance next weekend and in addition, more sports will start in 2022. In addition, the Eredivisie football for both men and women.

Payed football

The Eredivisie will wake up from hibernation this weekend. The second half of the season starts with round 19. PEC Zwolle and Willem II are the first two to face each other on Friday evening. The other three Overijssel clubs will be in action on Saturday evening. FC Twente receives Heerenveen, Go Ahead Eagles receives a visit from RKC Waalwijk and Heracles Almelo goes to NEC.

Women football

With the women, the second half of the season will also start in the Eredivisie and the Overijssels meeting between PEC Zwolle and FC Twente is immediately on the program on Sunday. PEC has dropped to sixth place after a good start to the season and Twente is number two.

Basketball

The basketball players of Landstede Hammers will play in both the league and the cup this week. Aris Leeuwarden will be the opponent in the BNXT League tomorrow and Donar will visit Zwolle for the quarter-finals of the cup on Sunday. The battle in the last eight is about a best-of-2. Tuesday 1 February is the return in Groningen.

Handball

Volley-ball

Waterpolo

For the men of Het Ravijn, the second half of the season will start with a double weekend. On Saturday it will visit leader AZC and on Sunday De Ham will visit Nijverdal. The women will play a home game against GZC Donk on Saturday.
