This result makes Los Blancos remain firmly in the first position of the standings with a collection of 49 points in 21 matches that have been played, 7 points ahead of Sevilla who are in second place and have only played 19 matches.
The Real Madrid goals were scored by Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior who scored twice apiece, with the first name scoring the opener to put his side 1-0 up at half-time. Benzema scored through the penalty spot in the 43rd minute after referee Alejandro Hernandez judged Casemiro was dropped by Omar Alderete in the forbidden box.
Vinicius Junior made Real Madrid further away from the visitors’ scoring chase with his two goals in the 52nd and 61st minutes.
