AREZZO, 01 JAN – Rave party on the Alpe di Poti, the mountain above Arezzo. The police intervened to try to remove and disperse 500 people from all over Italy, gathered in a piece of land between an old abandoned hotel and the ruins of a cottage. But the participants did not leave. According to what has been learned, during the night there were moments of tension with the police who carried out checkpoints to stop the flow of cars. Police, carabinieri and Gdf guard the area. The place chosen is above Arezzo, about a dozen kilometers from the city. They arrived with speakers and equipment to make music around 9pm on December 31st. Patrols of the state police, carabinieri, financial police and municipal police immediately intervened on the spot to set up checkpoints and try to stop the party. But the garrison went on all night in an area devoid of houses, with few clearings and many woods, quite dangerous to reach as it can be reached by narrow and partly dirt roads. There is a thick fog on the spot and there is a lot of humidity. The police are in place but the interruption of the abusive party and its gatherings do not seem easy to solve at the moment. (HANDLE).
