The basic idea is to lower the average age and make the project sustainable. Alex Sandro at the start, could end up in Romagnoli’s sights. Rabiot on the starting list
The repair market at Juventus does not include fancy gifts under the Christmas tree. A little for the multi-year plan that does not allow room for intermediate upheavals and a little for the economic resources that can be released in perspective only thanks to a careful savings plan to be implemented immediately. Here, the Lady could plan some large-scale grafts for next summer, so as to give continuity to the new philosophy on the market undertaken last summer. All this, after having reduced the squad starting in January.
The basic idea is to make the staff as suitable as possible for Massimiliano Allegri’s football, lowering the average age and making the project sustainable. The current squad available shows obvious gaps in some roles, while in others it is time to change. In fact, the coach does not have a left-handed central defensive player on whom he can rely: it is inevitable to look after Chiellini today, which is why Juve remains vigilant over Romagnoli’s position, due to expire with Milan on June 30th. Where instead it seems time to change is on the left wing: Alex Sandro seems to have had his day in Turin, faced with an offer he could go away and make way for a new arrival.
A real revolution in midfield is needed, the department that in recent years has been less convincing and that already in the next transfer window could greet two pieces that know off-key in the Juventus choir, Ramsey and Arthur. The only one that holds up at the moment is Locatelli: it is no coincidence that the new cycle of the Lady started from its purchase. All the others are up for discussion, with Rabiot first on the list of possible starters and not necessarily with a too expensive figure. At least two midfielders would be needed, including a playmaker. Juve is already working to find the best solutions, with an ever-attentive eye on the Italian market.
Forward, however, will focus on a center forward. And here the names are not lacking, net of the difficulties due to competition. The dream remains Vlahovic, with whom the Lady would have moved forward in unsuspecting times to snatch a liking that could make the difference when choosing the player: the risks remain because they are linked to an upward auction with the foreign clubs involved . The other name on which the bianconeri have been reflecting for some time is Scamacca, who also at Sassuolo is proving to have perspective and what it takes to aspire to the leap to the top club.
