Procurement and professional training in the hands of Cosa Nostra Trapani. This is against the background of a maxi seizure of assets ordered by the Court of Prevention Measures of Trapani and carried out by the Dia di Trapani and by the Guardia di Finanza. The entrepreneur Pasquale Perricone, former deputy mayor of Alcamo, is in the sights. The seizure exceeds 2.5 million euros: six company compendia operating in the sector of professional training, construction and commerce, 50% of the shares of a real estate company, four properties and six financial relationships.
For the Court, following the investigations by Dia and Fiamme Gialle, the entrepreneur, arrested in May 2016, was part of Cosa Nostra. Rather than being a victim of protection money, he shared the proceeds, as indicated by some collaborators of justice. The entrepreneur was the dominus of a criminal association aimed at obtaining illegal profits deriving from public funding provided for professional training and from public funds obtained thanks to the commission of scams and illegal asset diversions put in place with the network of companies he managed.
In particular, during the investigation some public awards were reconstructed following which a fixed percentage of 2% of the price paid by the public body had to be paid to the reference mafia family.
