TEHRAN, 11 DEC – “If the other parties participating in the Vienna talks to relaunch the 2015 nuclear deal are determined to remove the sanctions, we will certainly reach a good agreement”. This was said by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. “The sanctions against Iran – said Raisi – are sanctions against the base of the country’s economy, said Raisi adding that” the strategy of the enemy (the US, ed) is to continue with the sanctions, while our strategy is to go beyond sanctions in two ways, by nullifying them and taking serious action to remove them. Talks resumed in the Austrian capital on Thursday, with Iran submitting new proposals on lifting sanctions and other parties criticizing Tehran, after prolonging talks, wants to advance its nuclear activities.
