Wearing a muzzle is one of the necessary measures in most countries of the world to limit the spread of “Covid-19”, although some scientists question its effectiveness.
And according to the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, the new study, conducted by a team of experts in the United States and Germany, found that wearing a muzzle “can reduce the risk of catching the virus by up to 225 times, compared to relying only on the three-meter rule.”
“Wearing a mask provides very effective protection,” the researchers said.
And they added, “If you stand in front of a person infected with corona for 5 minutes and without a mask, the chance of catching the virus is 90 percent, even with respect for the distance of separation.”
And they continued, “While if she is wearing a mask, it will take 30 minutes to reach the risk of catching the virus.”
They concluded that their findings “indicate that social distancing is less important than a muzzle.”
