A truly moving story

This is the unbelievable story of the duck saved from drowning by a man who then decided to take care of her. The wild animal, which has now become practically one of the family, is so grateful to that person that every day runs into the arms of the man who saved her simply to say thank you.

One day Steven Thibeault stumbled upon a truly terrifying scene. In the swimming pool of an apartment building that he manages in the city of Nahant, Massachusetts, in the United States of America, there was a poor duckling who was in danger of drowning.

The man immediately approached the animal and brought it to safety. He wanted to give it back to his mother, but he didn’t find it anywhere. He couldn’t leave him alone, he wouldn’t survive. And so she decided to take care of him until he was able to live independently in his natural habitat.

What Steven Thibeault didn’t know was that the animal would be grateful for life to the man who saved him. Every evening he showed up at his door to thank him in his own way. And so the man decided to call the duck Cheerio.

Since Cheerio lives with his human family, even if he has friends of the same kind with whom he spends his days. But in the evening he prefers to go home to his human dad. He can do what all ducks do, but every day he knows where to go.

When the family is at work, they are out all day. But when they get home the duck is there. He has a social life among his fellows, but at the end of the day he always chooses his human dad.

Steven always had the option of leaving him in his natural habitat in mind, but so far Cheerio has contradicted that thought.
