BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 06 – Green light from the EU Council to start negotiations for the introduction of the European minimum wage. The OK to the Commission’s proposal came from the meeting of the European ministers for Labor and Social Policies, marking the formal start of the negotiation process with the European Parliament, which has already given the green light to the procedure. “We cannot accept that people who put all their energy into work cannot afford decent living standards.
