Sometimes a person clears things up. For example, 78-year-old Annie Tepper came across two homemade mini tractors in her attic. “They are nice for the office of BBB MP Caroline van der Plas”, she thought. To her surprise, one of the tractors arrived further in The Hague than she could have imagined: at the office of agriculture minister Schouten.
Annie Tepper may be almost eighty years old, but the farmer’s daughter from Vroomshoop has never lost interest in farming. Her family’s farm is now run by the fourth generation.

In addition, agricultural policy still has the full attention of Annie Tepper. She closely followed the protests in The Hague and Amsterdam, but also in Zwolle.
She also became acquainted, from a distance, with Caroline van der Plas, who even managed to win a seat in the House of Representatives during the parliamentary elections earlier this year with her party Boer Citizen Movement.

When Annie Tepper found the mini tractors in her attic, she thought it would be nice if those small farm vehicles would be placed in the office of the current political face of farmers.
Through her niece Ingrid Tepper she managed to get the triggers at Caroline van der Plas. However, she did not put them both in her own office, but handed one over to outgoing agriculture minister Carola Schouten during a debate. “As a reminder, not only of the bad times, but also of the good times.”
And the minister personally thanked Annie Tepper via Twitter for the trigger, which will be given a nice place on the desk of her office.
